Tina Shipe, serves as a Board Member. She grew up in Fairland, Indiana, just southeast of Indianapolis, in Shelby County. She graduated in 1989 from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Art degree in Journalism. While attending college, She worked part-time for Central Indiana Bank (now KeyBank). Upon graduation, She went into management for the bank. After 12 years in banking, She left to pursue a career in insurance. She is a licensed agent for Ron Schulte State Farm Insurance, and have been there since June 1998.

In 1995, she married Michael Shipe, and moved to Zionsville. A lifelong Methodist, she transferred my membership from New Life UMC in Shelby County to Zionsville UMC. She and Mike have raised 3 children, Ashley (husband, Joe), Joshua, and Samuel. We also have two grandchildren, Elise and Conner. When our son, Samuel, was in Middle School and High School we were on the Board for the youth group at Zionsville United Methodist Church. She's also helped with the children’s ministry, sang in the contemporary choir, and our small group helps with various projects from time to time.
With her son Samuel out of high school she was looking to get involved in another project. With the pandemic, the church was looking for someone to allow donations for the food pantry to be delivered to their home since the church was closed. She and Mike felt called to make the commitment and volunteered their home and service. With this commitment, we are also on the Missions Team at Zionsville United Methodist Church. She states that she is honored to serve on the You Feed Them Missional Food Pantry board. She has a lot to learn and is excited for the opportunity to serve.
In their free time, She and Mike enjoy traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
